REVIEW || OPI Drip Dry

Around Christmas I was in Boots and I decided to look at the reduced aisle, just incase they had any gems, and I saw this! I had been wanting to try some nail polish drying drops for ages but I thought they were probably a gimmick so I refrained and saved my pennies, but this beauty which has an RRP of £13.95 was on sale for 50p! So of course I had to pick it up.

Here is what OPI say:

"Dries nail lacquer in five minutes with just a few drops while treating cuticles to a soothing dose of jojoba and antioxidant Vitamin E. The perfect solution for when you need to get out the door in a hurry! With jojoba to soothe cuticles, OPI Drip Dry Lacquer protects your cuticles and your nail lacquer. Touch drying nail lacquer in just one minute, and completely drying it in only five minutes, you'll wonder why you ever waited! "
Basically you apply 1 or 2 drops to your nails 1 minute after applying your final coat of nail polish depending on how long your nails are and then you wait 1 minute for touchably dry nails and 5 for completely dry nails.

The product originally comes with a screw on plastic cap and you also get this pipette to apply the treatment to your nails. You can use the pipette as the top by screwing it on which is what I do to make sure I don't lose it!

I agree with OPI's claims and think this is fantastic. I am impatient when waiting for my nails to dry because I always want to get up and do something else rather than waiting for my nails to dry and this has helped. Once applying this you wait 5 minutes and then you are completely ready to go!

As for how long the product lasts, I have had a fair few applications and have probably used about 2/3rds of the product. I would say I've had perhaps 15 applications? I will definitely be repurchasing this despite the steep price because it is fantastic. Although I have found you some links of where to get this slightly cheaper! And all with free UK delivery.

  1. I don't normally read many product posts but thanks for this. The waiting kills me. Usually because I choose stupid times like bedtime or three minutes before leaving the house to paint my nails. I'll keep an eye out for it.
