Stain Alert || Sinful Colours Matte Nail Polish in 'Savage'

So don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the Sinful Colours nail polishes, and at £1.99 they are very hard to say no to. I have no problems with the other 4 shades I have, but this is the only matte one I picked up and it stains to badly! I have looked up other reviews since purchasing and this seems to be the general thought round this item. Now I can't comment on how whether this would stain or not without a base coat because I haven't yet tried this.

I wore this a few weeks ago and decided to change my nail polish just before a friend's party. BIG MISTAKE. My nails were stained this colour and the skin around where the nail polish remover had spread too and it was awful. This is a gorgeous colour and lasts a long time, especially for a matte nail polish this is very impressive! But I don't think I will be rewearing/purchasing any of the matte shades which is such a shame because I love the regular nail polishes from this line! I thought I would share this just as a warning so that this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Thanks for reading

Have you had the same problem with this?

    1. None of the others do it, it is only this matte formula I think, I have 4 of the regular formula and I have never had any problems with those, just this one :( x

    1. It is honestly the most perfect turquoise shade and I was really looking forward to wearing it for summer! But it just stains too much :( x

  4. This is such a shame! I had a Barry M one that did the same, even with a base!
I'm guessing even if you had applied a base coat you would've had the same problems with around the nail when you took it off?
    Beautiful colour though!

    1. It is! Aw no that's so annoying :( And usually Barry M are amazing! Yes I think you're right, even if you could prevent it staining the nails I think it would still stain around the skin and that is so annoying :( Yes agreed! x

  10. That's such a lovely colour for summer, I expected it to cost a lot more too! I've toyed with a few bright colours for summer but tend to stick with the same old ones, I do however have a lilac version that I love!

    1. It is a gorgeous colour, although I am going to try and find a dupe! I love them, just not the matte formula so I agree it's best to avoid this formula :) x
