From The Archives || Bioderma Review

I have decided to start re writing some of the posts I wrote a while back and taking new pictures with my much better camera than the webcam I started blogging with! So this is the first post in the "series" if you like, so I hope you enjoy these! After writing these updated reviews I will be deleting the old versions because they really were rather awful.

At the end of last year I went to France with my family, and unfortunately I got a horrendous sore throat, however there was an advantage to this! I went into a French Pharmacy and I saw 2 of these 500ml of Bioderma on offer. 2 bottles for €20 and for that price I couldn't resist.

Now before buying this I was always so lazy with removing my makeup and used to use the dreaded face wipes before cleansing and thought that they were doing a good job but how wrong I was. Just after buying these I was getting new buyer syndrome and regretting spending almost £20 on makeup remover but I proved myself completely wrong, this stuff is amazing! I didn't realise how much makeup I was wearing until I came to remove it with this and it removed everything. I even did a test and took my makeup off with a makeup remover wipe and then this after and it showed how much the makeup remover wipe had missed, now I am never going back.

The great thing about this formula of Bioderma is it is great for sensitive skin, a lot of toners make my skin  feel tight and look red which I hate but this doesn't do that at all. It is super gentle and will not sting your eyes/skin when taking off your makeup but it will still remove eye makeup.

The only real downfall of this product is the dispenser, it means that a bit too much comes out, although what I did with the first bottle was I put it into another container so that I didn't waste any and this works fine for me. Although I believe they are releasing a limited edition bottle with a much better cap for dispensing so I shall be keeping my eyes peeled!

I know this is expensive but I honestly think it's worth it, 100%. Everything I have tried after using this just really doesn't live up to this, and it might even be worth ordering it from France, although I shall wait until I go again before stocking up because I've still got half a bottle left and this one. Which leads me on to the fact that this lasts forever! A bottle like this has lasted me 8 months already and I still have some left so it is definitely a worth while investment.

Overall I give this 10/10!

Thanks for reading

  1. Ah this series is such a good idea!!! :)

I do love Bioderma, but I'm trying to find cheaper alternatives to all my skin care at the moment, so I'm currently using the L'oreal one! It works exactly the same and is a lot cheaper than Bioderma! I will repurchase Bioderma again at some point though! xx
