This is a new addition to Aromatherapy Associates fame nine-strong Bath & Shower Oil collection and is a personal blend names Inner Strength by Geraldine Howard.
This product was created by Geraldine during her lowest ebb amidst treatment for cancer, Geraldine looked to her oils and her goal was to formulate an essence tailored to what she most needed at the time: strength, courage and a positive frame of mind to enable her to face her fears and continue on the path to getting better.
This oil combines a powerful combination of uplifting clary sage, frankincense, cardamom, rosemary, rose, vetivert and geranium.
The clary sage & frankincense help to focus the mind and calm the thoughts, cardamom and rosemary to help fortify physical strength, rose and vetivert to calm and heal and geranium to balance emotionally and stimulate circulation.
This blend of oils is great for anyone experiencing their own personal trauma, be it divorce, bereavement, redundancy and exams! I know especially for those of us sitting GCSE's and A Levels at the moment it is an extremely stressful time, and there is a lot of revision to be done, left right and centre!
This retails for £39.00 for 55ml, and although this may seem expensive at first you only need the tiniest bit as this is very strongly fragranced, and like other oils only one or two drops of this is needed to scent the bath tub. This is available from www.aromatherapyassociates.com, Space NK, Selfridges, Fortnum & Mason, Liberty's, victoriahealth.com and feelunique.com. 10% of the proceeds will be given to the charity that is helping pioneer new treatment of which Geraldine is currently a patient.
Now onto the review:
This is a wonderfully fragranced oil and I use this in the bath. I love to have a bath when I have the time, as usually I am more of a shower girl simply because of the lack of time. Recently though I have been using the bath more because I find it more relaxing, the instructions on the back of the card container said to add the whole contents of the 3ml sample to the bath. The smell is so uplifting and it makes me feel super relaxed, I am suffering from sleeplessness at the moment mainly due to stress and I also find myself getting very stiff in the shoulders from being so tense, but when I have a bath with this I fall straight to sleep and it makes my sheets smell heavenly when I wake up in the morning.
This is so relaxing and I have let some of my family and friends try this aswell and they agree with me just how calming this fragrance is. So if you use about 3ml per bath a 55ml bottle would last you for about 18 baths! Which is very good value and it is also going to a great cause.
So if you haven't already tried this I would 100% recommend it and it would also make a great present for anyone who is going through a hard time at the moment, or is feeling stressed.
Thanks for reading
