Review: Soap & Glory Pulp Friction Body Scrub
Hey guys!
My name is Danniella and I’m from Beauty In Japan. Today I’m going to be doing a *guest post* right here on Liv’s blog, whilst she is away sunning herself! (Lucky girl!)
They say:
Get fresher, smoother and softer skin with fig powder, pumice, peppermint oil, lemonade tree liquid, orange waterjuice™ and vitaminballs™ (A,C,E). Scented with our new Fruitigo™ fragrance.
I say:
I picked this up in the bumper Soap & Glory set at Christmas. This was a new product back then and I was excited to try it out, considering I had been using The Breakfast Scrub and Flake Away (review here) before. Body scrubs are usually something that I always use as you can’t beat that smooth feeling!
What makes Pulp Friction stand out for me is the foaminess.
Left: no foam. Right: foam ahoy!
Whilst Flake Away is a really fine scrub, it does have the awful habit of sticking to me afterwards; a bit like a clingy, lovesick puppy. But not this scrub.
I’m going to put this out there. This is one of the best scrubs I’ve tried. It’s brilliant for using almost everywhere and anywhere (not your head, but definitely shoulders, knees and toes). I particularly like to use this on my legs (anything to make them look a fraction thinner!) and this works wonders on dry skin as well as wet.
The fragrance, on the other hand, niggles me a bit. I’m sure I have used another product which smells similar but I just can’t place my finger on it! If anyone can help me, it would be appreciated!
Finishing on a positive note, this scrub has lasted me for ages. And I mean ages. I think in all the time I have been using it (more than 1 month, maybe 2 months) the bottle still doesn’t feel any lighter!
You can pick this up at Boots for £8.00. Super smooth skin for under £10.00? If that doesn’t deserve a 5/5, then I don’t know what does!

Message from Beaumaquillagex :I am currently away on holiday until mid August so some lovely people have offered to do guest posts for me, that's why you won't be seeing much of me for the next few weeks! Remember to enter my MAC blush giveaway if you haven't already!
Great post! I've heard a lot about Pulp Friction (amazing name) so I might have to try it when I'm out of Flake Away! xx
