September Blogger of the Month

Hi Everyone!

This month I have had so many amazing entries, so thankyou to everyone who has entered. It has been really tough again as everyone that has entered has had an amazing blog, & I found it very hard to narrow it down to a winner. I have spent about 2 hours(no jokes!) reading through everyone's posts and trying to decide on a winner. Definitely check every single blog out this month, and give them a follow if you like them!

So here were the wonderful entries this month(in no particular order)

So because I have had so many amazing entries, I have decided to break it down into three categories(this time I will just announce the winner, as I really couldn't narrow it down to a top 3, all the entries were seriously amazing):

  1. Beauty Blogger of the Month
  2. Fashion Blogger of the Month
  3. Lifestyle Blogger of the Month
So the winner of 'Beauty Blogger of the Month' is...

Becca has recently reached 100 followers and is doing a giveaway so definitely check that out to win some great L'Oreal prizes. Becca writes her blog really well and has a nice mix of posts(mainly beauty but also some fashion posts) and she sets all of her posts out really nicely so that they are easy to read. Her blog is not overly cluttered and is set out very professionally. The pictures on her blog are always really good quality and taken in very good light. I always read Becca's new posts & she is a genuninely lovely person, we have some great laughs on twitter and she is a very good friend to me. We also have a very similar sense of humour and we get on very well. I have been very lucky to meet Becca through blogging.

The winner of 'Fashion Blogger of the Month' is...

Lorraine is actually a Spanish blogger, but she blogs in both Spanish & English so don't worry if you don't speak Spanish, I don't! Her blog is set out very nicely, and she has a great range of posts(mainly fashion), they all focus on different aspects of fashion and she does lots of different kinds of posts, so there is something for everyone. My personal favourites are her 'How to Wear It' posts, and she has done one recently on how to style creepers which you can check out here, which I found really helpful as I have always wondered how to wear creepers, and I am debating getting some.

The winner of 'Lifestyle Blogger of the Month' is...

Ikra writes a range of different lifestyle posts, which I love to read because they are all very interesting and inspiring. She includes quotes, and her thoughts on different things, and one of my favourite posts that she has done recently was 'Smile And You Might Change a Life' which you can check out here , it was a really lovely post and I definitely agree. I am a very smiley person, and I love to see others smiling too! So this was right up my street. I think this blog is great if you just want cheering up, or want to look on life in a new light. I would definitely recommend reading through a few of her posts, they are great and I think everyone would really enjoy her posts and style of writing.

Thanks very much to everyone who entered,

If you want to enter next month please comment or tweet me

Outfit Post with My New Skull Top!

Okay so when I posted on twitter about my new skull top, I got very positive feedback! And the lovely Jess asked if I would do an outfit post, and I thought that was a great idea as I have not yet done that. You can check Jess' blog out here , she is so nice & her blog is awesome so you should all go & check her out!

Okay so I have tried this top on with a few different pairs of trousers and I thought it would be fun to get feedback from you guys on which is/are your favourite combos and to share some ideas too!

Another Haul-Whoops!

Okay so I really shouldn't be spending money at the moment as I have spent soo much and I am meeting up with loads of people because it's the end of the holiday so I really need money for lunch etc. So I have been really naughty, but this will be the last haul for a while now. I was in town today & a few days ago and just picked up a few bits & thought I would share them with you all!

Girl About Town 'Soho' Lashes, Eyelure Lash Adhesive & Eyelash Applicator
After hearing Kayla from Makeup Stick (check out their youtube channel!) talking about the Girl About Town lashes I knew I had to have them as I am really getting into false lashes at the moment, and best thing? They were only £2 from Savers! (I love that place)

Buddha Earrings
Aren't these just the cutest earrings you have ever seen? They were only 99p from Internacionale & I couldn't not get them!

H&M Gold Collar Necklace
I recently won Jackie(from The Fashion It List's) 1 year giveaway, and I won this collar necklace & I love it! I have been wearing this practically every day since I got it, so thanks Jackie! You can check out her blog here

New Look Gold Skull Top

I saw this in New Look & I have no idea why but I just really really wanted it! I think it was just an impulse buy. What do you guys think of it?

What have you hauled recently?
Yay or Nay to the skull top?

Maybelline Colour Sensational Pop Stick in 'Citrus Slice'

When I went into Boots & saw this product in front of me whilst at the Maybelline counter I knew I had to have it, it was just to cool not to! (Am I the only one that buys into gimmicks?)
So onto the review

Price: £7.99
What it is: This is a range of lipsticks(they have a few more colours in the line) that adapts to your lip tone, so for example this one is supposed to turn to your ideal peachy orangey colour and there are others in the line that turn to your perfect rid, or nude or bright pink etc.
What I think: I am just so unimpressed with this product, from Maybelline I would have expected a lot lot more. I would have included swatches but this product is so sheer that my camera wouldn't even pick it up. It goes the palest, most sheer colour ever and is practically clear. The only way you can get any pigmentation is if you swatch it for about 5 minutes and even then it is still not good. The product feels very plasticy when applied and the smell is not very nice either, it smells quite chemically. This is nice for someone who just wants a glossy look to their lips, but then again you may aswell just pay a couple of pounds for a clear gloss. I don't usually like to give negative reviews of products but this is quite a lot of money for a drugstore product and it just isn't worth the money at all. I don't know if it is just this colour that is super sheer, so if you have tried any of the other lipsticks in this colour changing line please let me know what you think of them.
Rating: 3/10
Repurchase?: No

Have you tried this product? What did you think?

Hi Everyone!

I hope you're all okay, I am back with my first post since my holiday with a haul. These are things I picked up on holiday and since I've got back so I hope you enjoy!

So I was lucky enough to win all the MUA lipsticks, yes all of them! But unfortunately as shade 14 was unavailable, so the lovely Karla from MUA sent me a Lip Boom instead, so thank you!

In the airport I picked up the 'Hunger But Mainly Death Games' which is a parody of the Hunger Games and it is hilarious! I am really enjoying it & then in Tesco I picked up 'Bridesmaids' which is my favourite all time film, it is hilarious and I would definitely recommend watching it if you haven't already!
