REVIEW || Barry M Dazzle Dust

Ever since being given 3 of these at the Clothes Show in my Barry M Goodie Bag, I have fallen in love with the dazzle dusts! The two other shades I got were a green and a purple so I don't tend to wear those but I love these!

Just something I want to get out of the way first though, last week I was watching Tati from a GlamLifeGuru 's London haul and she picked one of these up and on the back it said 'Do not use around the eyes', this really confused me? Because on the Boots and Barry M website it markets these as an eyeshadow and Barry M even suggest using this as an eyeliner and an eyeshadow, so if anyone knows anything about this please leave a comment, it would be greatly appreciated! Now onto the review.

I am not entirely sure what this shade is because I got it from the Clothes Show and they don't always sell the ones with the shades, but here is the bottom of the jar so if this means anything to anyone you may be able to decipher the shade.

This is a beautiful shimmery, iridescent silvery white shade and looks so beautiful all over the lid or as a highlight. These are an extremely finely milled dust, so you have to be careful when unscrewing the lid and I tend to apply these with my ring finger which I just press extremely lightly into the product. These are also extremely pigmented! A little bit goes a very long way. I have used this more times then I care to remember and as you can see there is still almost all of the product left. At first I thought that the £4.59 price tag was quite a lot for a little pot, but now I have realised it is extremely good value for money!

Barry M suggests that as well as using this as an eyeshadow, you could also wet a brush and use it as an eyeliner and I think I will try this with the other two shades I have, as I think that they will work better as eyeliners for me.

These come in little (glass, I think) pots and look very cute on your dressing table. I love the massive shade selection and I think I will definitely have to go out and try a few more of these. They look so beautiful and they cling to primers like a dream, making them stay on all night.

  1. This is a gorgeous colour. I like the fact you can use them as an eyeshadow and also as an eyeliner.

  2. I've always used the Dazzle Dusts as an eyeshadow, in actual fact I don't think I've used them as anything else! This is a lovely shade, and they really do last forever!

    1. Me too! I have never used them as anything else so it confuses me why they are marketing them as not for the eyes now? Thanks! I agree, they are so worth the money :) xo
