Halloween Guest Post

Are you ready for Halloween? I am. I want to say thank you for letting me guest post on your blog! I wanted to share with you an awesome look I created for Halloween! It's simple really, but would go really well with a witches outfit, you can mix up the colours too.

The eye! All you need to do is stick some cellotape across your face, this sounds crazy but it gives you an amazing look! Stick it just under the outer corner of you eye and leave it there till the end. Oh! before doing this you want to use a full coverage foundation so that you have a perfect, one tone base to work with. I applied a red in the inner corners of my eye and into the middle, you can use any colour, what ever matches your costume! I then just simply added a black eye shadow to the crease and outer corner..this is where the cellotape created an awesome curved line! Both of these colour were from my 120 palette. 

Then I added some liquid eye-liner, I just followed the line made by the shadow, then I took the cellotape off! Then I added mascara, you could add in some fake lashes at this point too :) I used 2True liner, I swear by this stuff!

After that I added some right red lip stick, I used Revlon stay lip stick, in flame. It's the brightest one I own, so I thought is suited the occasion! Then I just added a matt black over the top in the middle of my lips, then just add some lip gloss to get the colour to stay. 100 Day Spending Ban Week #5

Hi Lovelies!

This week I have honestly, 100% not wanted anything. I don't know if it is because I have been out of the blogosphere for a little while, or because I haven't been into Superdrug or Boots this week. So I decided to do something a little bit different for my update to make it more interesting. I will do my American Wishlist. 100 Day Spending Ban Update #4

28 days down, 73 to go! I have done suprisingly well this week, I have not really wanted anything. The only thing is it was the Models Own 50% off sale, and I purchased a few polishes. Usually I have been saying no to sales, but this one was too good to miss, and I am a massive fan of Models Own. I have decided that I will not allow myself to use these until after my spending ban, and this will be my treat for if I do not mess up again. If I do mess up again, I will give them away.

So onto my wishlist:

I do have a pair of GHD's, I have the Pink Orchid limited edition ones, but my hair is quite thick and so these don't work as well as they would on other people's hair. I tried these whilst round at my friends, and they worked a lot better for me. Just out of interest, if I were to sell my Limited Edition GHD's with their case, heatproof mat and the straighteners, that have only been used 3 times, would anyone be interested in buying them? This is not for certain but I may sell them.

So this is all I have been wanting this week!

Eyelure Eyelash Glue Review

I never ever used to be able to wear false eyelashes, I just couldn't find the right way to apply them, or the glue wouldn't hold etc. etc. But it dawned on me a few weeks ago that the reason I couldn't wear them was probably because I always used the eyelash glue that came with the false lashes, and that is pretty shocking quality. The problem was because it wasn't sticky enough it wasn't holding it to my lids and therefore causing my false lashes to slip and slide all round my lid and eventually end up in me giving up. 

So I decided to go and pick up a good glue, and decided to try this 'Eyelure Lashfix Strip Lash Adhesive' and I haven't looked back since! This glue is absolutely fantastic, and holds the false lashes on my lids all day(trust me I've tested it) and my lashes only come off when I take them off. This makes false lash application so easy because the lashes stick where you want them and therefore I can now apply lashes in only a few seconds, which is great and means I can wear them more often. 

This glue retails for £2.55 which is an amazing price for 6ml, and it lasts ages as you only have to use a little on the 'spines' of your false lashes. They also do a version that is darker, but this dries clear so I don't think that is really a problem.

The applicator is a plastic wand which enables very precise application to the false lashes. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this glue, and I am so happy I found it.

Girl About Town Lashes - Only £2.99?!

Hey Everyone,

So I was watching a video by Makeup Stick (you can check their channel out here a few weeks ago and Kayla said that she loved these Girl About Town Lashes, and the best thing? They are only £2.99 from Savers.

I rushed out to pick these lashes up, and I picked up the ones above. On the front they say they are the 'Soho' lashes, but on the barcode on the back they said they were the 'Carnaby' lashes, so I am not 100% which design these are, judging by the description of the lashes on the back of the box, these could be either, but I think are more likely to be Carnaby.

I have worn these lashes so many times! I am already on my second set of these lashes. I got about 4 uses out of these before I had to chuck them out which is pretty amazing considering the price. I love the look these give to my lashes, they give them more volume and so much length. I wore these when me and my friends went to an U18 club, and they stayed on the whole time and were perfect. These also look really nice for the day time, they are a little more dramatic than some of the super natural lashes you can get, but they definitely weren't over the top. These just looks so natural on the eyes and are great. These lashes do come with glue, but I haven't tried that because I have been using my Eyelure glue, but judging from previous experiences with lash glues that come with lashes, they are awful and you're better just buying a tube of a better one.

I will definitely continue to repurchase these and would like to try some of the other designs. Here are the descriptions of the 4 designs that Girl About Town do:
