An Apple A Day Keeps The Doctor Away*

Hi Everyone!

Today I have an exciting post for you, some of you may have read my post a while back(In November I think) about a great company Clothing Loves who have some really cheap and good prices, I even have a 15% off banner above the top of my blog for you to get a discount from them! Anyway when they contacted me they said that I could pick a piece of jewellery of my choice from their website and I found a super cute apple core necklace! I think this is one of the cutest necklaces I have and I wear it all the time, as it goes with a lot of things and I have had loads of compliments when I wear this necklace.

You can buy this necklace here.

This necklace is great quality and super lovely!

What do you think?

New Years Resolutions!

Hi Everyone

I am going to be doing some reviews soon, but first I thought I would do a New Years Resolution Tag! If there are any particular posts you would like to see, please post below!

Anyways onto my resolutions.

Blog more often!

I need to post more regularly because towards the end of last year I completely let my school work get on top of me and as a result of which couldn't blog nearly as regularly as I wanted to, and I think that even with all these exams I have at the moment which sucks I need to make sure I continue to do things that I like too!

Become more organised!

I'm not the most organised person in the world, which includes only remembering some homework pieces the night before they are due in which is horrendous, and especially when I have a lot on my mind I often let my organisation sip, which I really want to sort out this year!

Be more confident

One of the complaints on my report nearly every year is that I am not confident enough and need to speak up more, I would say that over the past year I have definitely gotten better but I still have a long way to go in terms of being confident within myself and my decisions, so I definitely want to sort that out this year.

Not spend as much

Last year there was never any money in my bank because I kept spending it which was completely stupid, I went on my spending ban and that definitely helped but I want to keep that up and not spend as much, and I need to get through some makeup products before I buy anymore because I definitely have way to much.

Cut down on eating rubbish.

I managed to give up eating crisps entirely last year which has definitely made a huge difference, and towards the end of 2012 I lost some weight and am really happy to say I have dropped 2 sizes, which makes me super duper happy, and I am going to keep it off! I am going to be cutting down on the amount of chocolate etc. that I eat.

Enjoy the year!

For any of us supersticious lot(which I won't lie I am part of, because I kinda thought the world was going to end, shhh don't tell) we survived 2012!!!! So I for one am going to be making the most of this year, and my last few months before sixth form, which I am dreading.

What are your New Years Resolutions?

Finished my 100 day spending ban!

Hi everyone!

So on the 11th of December 2012, I finished my 100 day spending ban. The reason I stopped doing updates every week was because I genuinely wasn't spending anything on makeup anymore and didn't have anything for my wish list!

I am so happy I did this challenge because recently I have had so much more money to spend on clothes and days out etc. I realised how much money I actually spent on makeup and I have finally realised I have way to much and need to start working my way through some of it before I buy anymore.

When I first started this challenge it was really really hard and I wasn't entirely sure how I would last 100 days but as time web ton boy did it get easier! Eventually you manage to get yourself out of the habit of spending money, and now I genuinely don't feel like I have to sped money now!

Although there a few things from my wish list that I would still love to try like the soap & glory concealer and a few other makeup bits, I'm not going to be rushing out to get them until I work my way through some of my makeup at the moment and I am currently very happy with how my products are working for me.

I am also tempted to have another blog sale, so let me know if you're interested :D

My Year Blogging Tag

Hi Everyone!

Sorry about the lack of blog posts, but I am currently without a laptop because mine broke which is an absolute pain and that is why my last two posts haven't been set out very well because I have been using the Blogger app on IPhone. I have finally got access to a computer, and I thought that since it is now officially 2013!(Crazy how time flies!) I would do My Year Blogging Tag, which I just saw on Ally's blog, which you can find here.

Firstly, I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas, and Happy New Year!
Now onto the tag.

Has blogging changed you?

Yes! Definitely, 2012 was my first year of blogging, I finally decided that I really wanted a blog after having read loads of other people's lovely blogs, and being too much of a chicken to do Youtube, I decided I should start a blog, and I have not looked back ever since! I absolutely love reading other people's opinions on products etc. on blogs, and I have really enjoyed saying what I think too! It has made me a lot happier having a blog because I can talk to people with the same interests as me, and I have made some great friends that I talk to regularly. I have also learned a lot about how to write posts that interest people and how to set posts out etc. which has definitely helped me a lot with my 2 English GCSE's.

How many posts did you write in 2012?

I started blogging in June 2012, and since then I have written 107 posts! This will be my 108th. I am going to try and get a blogging schedule this year so I can fit it around exams, but still blog regularly enough.

What post are you most proud of?

I think probably my Sleek Contour Kit Review, which has managed to get 711 views, and is my second most read post after my 150 follower MAC giveaway!

What do you hope your blog is like in 2013?

I hope to be able to post more regularly and maybe start up a series of posts, so if you have any suggestions let me know! I would also like to finally settle on a structure for my reviews, and I would like to continue to meet new people, and hopefully gain some new followers!

I would love to say a massive thankyou to everyone, this has been my first year of blogging and I have enjoyed it so much. I have met some amazing people, and I would like to carry on meeting even more wonderful people. Thankyou to all my followers aswell! I never expected 359 people to want to read my rambling! I still remember getting to 50 and being completely shocked so thankyou so much!

What has been your favourite part of 2012?

Little BU Nail Polish*

*UPDATE- I received an email from Little BU explaining that these nail polishes are supposed to wash off to make them more friendly for people at school who need to remove their nail polish when at school*

Hi everyone!

Sorry that I have been absent from blogging, I promise I haven't given up! It's just I am in my final year of GCSE and I have exams left, right and centre :( I have also been busy organising and finalising my secret Santa. Anyways, today I have a review for you!

I was sent these two nail polishes in the shades Chloe(pinky purple shade) and Kyra(the shimmery gold colour) when I was asked if I would like to try these I jumped at the chance because not only am I a nail polish addict! But they are toxin free.

These nail varnishes are non-toxic and odourless. I was really excited by this concept because my nails are quite weak due to non stop painting my nails since being about 10, so I thought it would be great to give these a go. So anyways onto the review.

These are two very beautiful colours and they build up well with 2 or 3 coats, the gold shimmery polish works nicely as a kind of top coat if you just put one layer over another polish. Which is fantastic because these have no chemicals I was assuming they would be very sheer but this is not the case. However the main problem with these polishes is that even after having left them to dry for a good 39 minutes they came straight off my nails when I washed my hands! This really upset me because it all seemed to be going so well :( I tried again another few times and again they washed off which really disappointed me because I wanted them to work.

I might give these another go and let them dry a bit longer and see if this makes them work better but for now I am a bit disappointed :( I will definitely do an updated review soon and see if I can make them work!

Thanks for reading and I hope you've all had a fantastic Christmas! Leave me a comment with what you got, and also please comment if you'd like to see some things I got :D

Malzee*

Recently I was contacted about a new website named 'Malzee' which is a website designed to create a new and fun shopping experience with lots of benefits. Here is some information from Malzee to explain a bit more about it.

'Mallzee is all about creating a new experience for shopping online. Users create their own personalized shopping mall (Mallzee) by picking their favourite brands and stores. Our fancy software then finds products matching your personal style and showcases them in your Mallzee!

To add a new social aspect users can then invite their friends to ‘visit’ their Mallzee through the use of Facebook chat. Friends can then discuss product choices and star items they think their friends will love and purchase from the mall themselves with great discounts negotiated by us. If your still unable to decided on a purchase you can also create polls to ask your friends opinions before you buy. An added bonus to inviting friends to your mallzee is that as the ‘owner’ you earn money every time anyone buys from your Mallzee! (That's right you get paid when you or your friends shop?)

Currently we have over 200 brands signed up to Mallzee (Urban Outfitters, New Look, Feel Unique and St. Tropez to name a few). We're really keen to get the word out about Mallzee and get future users excited about the concept before we launch later this year. With this in mind people can register now for a launch invite at Mallzee.com and if they spread the word on Facebook or Twitter we will also enter them into a prize for £100/$155 of shopping vouchers and some other goodies.'

I think this is a fantastic idea and I am so pleased to be involved with such a wonderful idea! I like how it makes online shopping even more social and how people can discuss outfits etc. because don't we all want each others opinions on what we're planning on wearing?
